Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before renting your car in Morocco.
How old do I need to be to rent a car?
The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a driving licence for at least 2 years.
Is my foreign driving licence (UK, US, Canadian, EU…) accepted?
Yes. A valid foreign licence is enough for a tourist stay in Morocco. If your licence is not written in Latin characters, bring an International Driving Permit as well.
How does the deposit work?
The deposit is taken as a pre-authorisation on your bank card and released when the vehicle is returned. The amount varies by vehicle and is shown on each vehicle page: from 5,000 DH for a city car.
Is the mileage limited?
No: Unlimited mileage on all our rentals, whether you stay in town or drive all the way around Morocco.
Can you deliver the car to the airport?
Yes, at every airport in our cities: Marrakech Menara, Casablanca Mohammed V, Agadir Al Massira, Fez-Saïss, Rabat-Salé and Tangier Ibn Battouta. Give us your flight number when you book: if it's delayed, we'll wait for you.
Can I return the car in another city?
Yes. Tick “Return to a different branch” when you book and choose your return location. We'll confirm the one-way price before the rental starts.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. Just let us know by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Can I drive to the desert or into the Atlas?
Yes, on roads and graded tracks (Merzouga, the Draa Valley, the Tichka pass…). For these routes, we recommend an SUV such as the Dacia Duster, which sits higher and copes better with mountain roads. Off-road driving is not permitted.
How does payment work?
No payment is required to book online: we call you back to confirm availability, then you pay for the rental when the keys are handed over.
